Water and Technology Vlog

I always thought vlogging was so cool, and finally I have jumped into it.  I streamed a video of myself reading a poem about the parallels between water and technology.  I firmly believe we can use technology as a stepping stone, rather than a stumbling block.  We can use this amazing medium to connect with each other and build empathy and compassion.

In this vlog I share a poem that starts with “I am Water”, and today I had the privilege to go to Alouette Lake in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada.  Here is a photo from today, that dove tails the poem nicely.

There was a few technical glitches, so part of me wanted to redo it, but in essence I think this is a part of my message with this vlog.  Also, my kids just got home and spending time with them is important to me.  Anyhow, technology has glitches, but if we push through we can send messages of empathy, compassion and connection despite the problems with it.  Enjoy my first vlog post!
